I have been active on Steem-Engine for over two months and I amazed at the impact of Steem-Engine on the morale of many people in the Tribes. I think the emotions I see reflected in the posts and comments can be described as joy, hope, ownership, accomplishment and a feeling of significance.
I frequently read comments and posts by people who are now dolphins, orcas or whales in one of the tribes!
The comments are joyful, they reflect a sense of accomplishment and when these people moderate the tribe blog they exude ownership and hope for a solid future.
What I see on the tribes is that newcomers can buy enough stake to be dolphins, orcas and whales, so they feel empowered to curate, criticize and even downvote on the tribe blogs, many of the moderators are quite willing to tell even big fish that their nicely written article doesn’t belong in their blog.
I think these people aren’t leaving Steem, they are actually developing a reason to stay. I think the Tribes may even be increasing demand for Steem, as small Steem fish see their chance to be bigger fish in smaller ponds and the niches allow people to feel that their work is actually being seen, read and appreciated.
I think that those emotions are priceless.
There is a lot going on, on the Steem blockchain as the Tribes grow along with over 200 other dApps, and they all use Steem.
I think the demand for Steem will grow as more people buy and power up Tribe Tokens, play Steem Monsters, Drugwars, New Colony and other great games and dApps on Steem.
The future looks bright and full of hope, pride, accomplishment, new sense of ownership and a sense of recognition for many who didn’t feel this before.
Welcome to the future.
