Mass adoption, eKrona, Tron and Steemit community keeps me bullish on Steem.

Personal Computers, the Internet, the blockchain and cryptocurrency.

I personally remember when IBM first developed the P.C. or personal computer, and did so seemingly in a begrudging manner, because IBM thought PC were a passing fad. IBM stated that there will never be mass adoption of the Personal Computer, this surge of interest is a passing fad, like bell bottom pants or black patent leather shoes. The quotes come back to haunt them now.

If you are old enough, you remember when every business didn’t have an internet presence and before internet marketing and internet millionaires became common. You probably remember the naysayers remarking that this was just a fad, a passing fancy and that the internet would never amount to anything. Who would have envisioned a time that the President of the United States would communicate daily via the internet!

I think...
Mass adoption of cryptocurrency and the blockchain concept is coming, I hear its footsteps in the distance.

First Venezuela, then Japan, now Sweden announce and contract out for development of a Countries National Cryptocurrency, in Sweden’s case the E-Krona. These are historic developments. We are watching history!
I think this is exciting!

The recent news of a new anonymous super whale on the Steemit platform who bought 10 million Steem and the Justin Sun purchase of Steemit story strike me as an interesting coincidence, unless of course they aren’t coincidence and actually connected stories...hmmm🧐.

The Steemit github is maintained by Steemit Inc. and of course the hardware and software underlying the platform are managed and paid for by Steemit Inc., their developers and the witnesses. The exact order and contribution are beyond my expertise, but the code is open source, so as I understand it, and I may be wrong, I am no expert, it seems that buying Steemit really means buying stake in Steemit and specifically Steemit, Inc's stake. So to those who say Steemit is a decentralized app which can’t be purchased I think your correct, but I believe there are elements which can be purchased from individuals who control the underpinnings of Steemit and this is something tangible, which could change hands.

While neither Steemit Inc., or Tron is denying or qualifying the rumors, no one can deny the interest the rumor has caused with nearly 20 news stories mentioning this upcoming “purchase”, plus countless posts and countless Tweets.

Everyone has been clamoring for Steemit Inc to do something to get Steemit into the limelight.
Well...here we are on the fringes of the spotlight and I feel like asking “ How do you like me now?”

So far...the answer it; I like it fine, thank you.

I think it’s great that people are asking the question Who or What is Steemit? And searching Steemit on Google. Invariably some of the actual posts on Steemit are popping up and being read by investors and social media types across the Globe!
And as far as I know, it’s all been free…
That my friend is a great form of Advertising, news people want to share, via posts, tweets, instant message, text or simple forwarding of a link...

I think this news be it true or false, makes us re-examine our investment in a new light, not the light of How We See Ourselves and Steemit…but the light of How Others See Us…a very different light all together.

We are members of a community which refused to die in the Bear Market of 2019 and that’s saying something. In fact it can be argued that during the price hibernation of the bear market Steemit underwent a transformation not unlike that of a butterfly and has emerged as something new and beautiful. And while not perfect it is ready to fulfill different roles in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

And that makes me smile and Power Up! More Steem!
