My dad told me to go to bed kissing the troubles of the day goodbye. He advised me to write down a solution to my problem, then write out a plan of execution and think about the probable outcome, which should be in my favor. Then dwell on that victory for a few minutes and go to bed.

I believe the idea was to go to sleep worry free and get a good nights sleep. Then I would be rested the next day to review my plan, improve it if needed and go forth to conquer the world.

It sounds funny, but this method never failed me. Interesting enough, even if my plan only had a 50:50 chance of success, I still slept good. I had a plan, I visualized it working, I dwelled on that victory & I slept like a baby :)

I am not saying the plans always worked or that I never changed them the next day, but I
always slept well and this always gave me an edge over my competition. I would wake up refreshed, look my plan over again and make small changes usually, but big changes rarely.
But I woke up confident in my ability to plan and execute a solution. And that my friends has made all the difference.

When you believe in your plan, and your ability to execute it. People just naturally follow you. More then once someone has told me that they didn’t think the plan would work, but they followed me anyway because I seemed so sure it would work, they ignored their doubts.

I didn’t always succeed at first, but I learned a lot from trying and got much better as I went along.

So even if today’s a bad day or a really bad day. Tomorrow’s a new day. Believe in yourself for a victory my friend and keep trying. The one person who should always believe in you, should be You. 🙏
