Today I would like to review this question. Are We entering the Age of Cryptocurrency?
I would like to explore the news articles which I think illustrate that there is a great change taking place which is similar to the business adoption of the internet. At first there was only a token presence by large companies in the internet. I think that at first companies had webpages just so they could say they had webpages. At first you couldn't buy anything from these pages. They were just pretty to look at, but they didn’t allow purchases of any kind, But that soon gave way to large scale commerce and eventually one of the largest marketplaces in the world Amazon Marketpkace. Conclusion:
I wrote these articles listed above and I think they cumulatively show that there’s a very big change taking place where people can buy everyday goods like food and clothing with cryptocurrencies. I think it’s very significant that companies like Coinbase, Shapeshifter and other business intermediaries are developing programs which allow the process of buying goods and services to be as easy as buying things from Amazon. In fact Amazon recently announced the creation of their own blockchain. I think these are historical times we are living in and I believe we are truly entering the age of cryptocurrency.
