Today was a work and travel day with lots of walking. I was close to 4500 steps when I got to the airport, so instead of going to checkin and through security I headed in the opposite direction to part of the airport I never visit. There I found a very nice garden within the labyrinth of the airport. This airport has a nice earth feel due the use of a lot of natural stone and brown woods. Things look less manmade and more like accidents of nature. It is s very ion build with few walls and lots of sunlight and breezes. It’s also small and easy to navigate, so I prefer to leave from here instead of Honolulu for my mainland trips.
It was a nice ending to a long work week. I call it my wind down with nature.
