We all love a quiet walk in the woods, to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life or work. A chance to relax and forget about life for a while.
My mother use to say “All work and no play, makes you a dull boy”. I think she wanted me to enjoy life as well as work hard. I always paraphrased her and told my siblings to work hard and play hard.
I went for a walk in a botanical garden, and found Orchids....

Then as I came around the corner admiring some Red Heliconas this Red Blossom, Plumeria I think, caught my eye!

It was a great hike. The warmth of the sun on my skin,
a gentle breeze blowing throw my hair,
the mellow sound of birds chirping,
the gentle crash of the waves in the distance.
It was a marvelous get away.
Yes, I believe my mom was right. All work and no play makes you a dull boy. Live life, visit nature, enjoy some waterfalls!
